First Things

If you came here expecting to see a scary picture of a giant chicken developed in a Tokyo lab using radiation, I can't help you.

When my father died (high blood pressure), I decided I should eat better. Everywhere I went to eat, I ordered chicken. It made sense at the time. Looking back, a piece of fried chicken on a bun can't be that much better than a slab of beef on a bun. My brother asked me if I ate anything other than chicken. Anyway, it reminded me of a time at the County Fair when I paid a buck to see a Six Foot Man Eating Chicken. Punctuation is a funny thing and I fell for it. Once around the corner, I saw a guy (we'll assume he was six feet tall) eating a piece of chicken.

I guess you could say this an attempt to see what's behind the screen. We'll see how it goes, eh?
